The EB-4 Permanent Residence Category has been established for specific categories as listed below. As this is a "catch-all" category, each type of visa is distinctly different from the other. 1. Persons seeking reacquisition of citizenship and returning resident.
2. Religious workers.
3. U.S. employee abroad or employee of American Institute of Taiwan for 15 years.
4. Foreign Medical Graduate if entered on H/J visa, licensed to practice in a state as of Jan. 1, 1978, and continued to practice and continuously present since date of entry.
5. Commuters from border.
6. Retired G-4 Officer.
7. Returning resident.
8. Court Dependents.
9. Person who has served honorably for 12 years in the armed services on active duty.
